DAVE S. WEAVER DC
Dr. Weaver was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and has spent his adult life in Keizer, Oregon. He attended Western Oregon University and received his bachelor’s degree in education in 1983. He taught and coached for a few short years before going to work for Coca-Cola and eventually Pepsi-Cola in Salem, Oregon.
Years of handling cases of soda coupled with previous years of athletics lead to recurring back pain. After going through traditional medicine routes for back pain without relief, he was treated by a chiropractor for the first time in the early 1990s. He became friends outside the office with one chiropractor and was encouraged to go to chiropractic college and join him and his father in practice.
Dave graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1996 and joined doctors Michael and Herbert Freeman in their Keizer practice. Based on the influence and mentorship of the Freemans, Dr. Weaver continues to use a more modern, light-forced type of adjusting rather than the traditional manual manipulation that most chiropractors use. His background as a teacher adds a unique atmosphere that he uses to educate his patients regarding their injuries and ailments in a way that is easy to understand. He is known for his gentle demeanor and non-rushed approach to patients and their care. This reputation has resulted in patients being regularly referred to him from their GPs, physical therapists, pain management specialists, family members and friends.
Dr. Weaver has owned and operated Keizer Chiropractic Clinic since 2002, and in 2015 opened the new clinic on McNary Estates Drive next door to Courthouse Athletic Club. Dave continues to live in Keizer and is involved in many local community events. He is passionate about enriching the lives of his patients through pain reduction, mobility improvement, lifestyle management and performance optimization.
CHRISTIAN LICHTENTHALER, D.C.
An Oregon native, Dr. Christian Lichtenthaler joined Keizer Chiropractic Clinic in 2022. He studied at the University of Western States where he completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.
Christian previously attended Concordia University in Portland, Oregon where he played baseball and completed his bachelor’s in biology. After his spring 2014 baseball season, he signed a professional contract with the San Francisco Giants and played two seasons in the minor leagues. He spent the 2015 season playing for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.
Following his playing career, he returned to Concordia University to complete his bachelor’s degree before starting chiropractic school at University of Western States.
He appreciates the holistic approach chiropractic care provides, understanding where symptoms originate and correcting root causes to help patients live a healthier and more enjoyable lifestyle.
In his spare time, Dr. Lichtenthaler enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. He is an avid offshore angler and splits his time between Newport and Pacific City fishing and crabbing out of his dory boat.
